Board of Directors

Mountain Bluebird Trails Conservation Society (MBTCS) board of directors meets several times per year to provide governance to the organization and strategically plan for Bluebird Trail maintenance and upkeep.  Anyone (aged 18+) is welcome to join our board and intake generally takes place during our Annual General Meeting.  

Bylaws provide structure and rules to our organization, while our Objectives provide an overview of our purpose as a charitable society. Our Executive Handbook provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of our Board of Directors.

Directors are encouraged to review the Alberta Board Development Program and other resources for non-profit organizations to better understand responsibilities and obligations.

We are always looking for more volunteers to serve as directors. It’s not difficult! We have a minimum of four executive meetings per year, plus the annual meeting. We talk about bluebirds and boxes and how best to foster continued attention to bluebird trails and nest box habitat. Please consider joining the executive. Contact us to learn more!
