First Bluebird of the season confirmed!

Our Trail Master, Steven Shumborski, reported that a bluebird was heard on March 8, International Women's Day, north of the Oldman Reservoir west of Fort Macleod.

Remember that nest boxes need to be cleaned out and repaired by the end of February in time for their arrival! If you have not already prepared your nest boxes, there is no time to waste. Male bluebirds select and lure a partner to a nesting site soon after they arrive.

Please share your photos and sightings of Mountain Bluebirds in the comments below or by emailing us.
