Fall 2018 AGM     Feature- Ruffled Grouse-more than you Imagined!                          Saturday November 3: 2 pm at Helen Schuler Center

You are encouraged to join us at the MBTCS Annual meeting  at the Helen Schuler Nature center, under the bridge, past Ft Whoop UP at 2 pm Saturday November 3rd!!

Dr. Andrew Iwaniuk, Canada Research Chair in Comparative Neuroanatomy at the U of L, will speak on his research on ruffed grouse at the Annual General Meeting. Over the past 10 years, he has been studying the drumming display of ruffed grouse in Alberta. He will share with us his field experiences and discoveries as well as the implications of his research for the long-term management of ruffed grouse. Join us for the talk and learn more about the ruffed grouse than you ever imagined possible.

2018 Orientation and Bluebird Trail training Day

Saturday, June 2, 2018.. Please join us to see a working Bluebird Trail- and learn about the care and Handling , and how we help the Bluebirds!  The session runs 9 am to noon-  leaving from the Helen Schuler Nature Center in Lethbridge. You will geta tour of a nearby trail so good walking shoes for rough terrain, your water bottle, and a hat for the heat of the day is essential!! For more information please call Jim  at 403-320-8970. Plan to join Us Oct  2018 at the Helen Schuler Nature Center for our AGM and to see our new boxes and meet new monitors!
