The Mountain Bluebird Trails Conservation Society (MBTCS) recently received grant funding from the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta to support the construction and installation of new mountain bluebird nest boxes.
The funding will help expand and maintain nesting habitat across bluebird trails in Southern Alberta.
Volunteers are using this support to build and place new nest boxes ahead of the spring nesting season. These efforts will contribute to long-term conservation work focused on providing safe nesting sites for mountain bluebirds and other native cavity-nesting species.
MBTCS appreciates the continued partnership and investment in community-based conservation initiatives.
